London, ON, September 10, 2013– Quantum5X Systems (Q5X) is pleased to announce their support for the reality TV series – Cubicle to the Cage. This innovative series produced by Hemmings House Pictures, is built around the journey of a few arm chair athletes who pursue their dream of becoming a MMA fighter for one exciting night. The story shows in real time the tenacity, determination and intestinal fortitude needed to achieve your goals. Q5X supported Cubicle to the Cage by providing the transmitter/receiver solution for mic’ing the trainer and fighters.
Paul Johnson, CEO of Q5X, stated that “Our transmitters are used for a variety of demanding sport applications however, this could be viewed as our most challenging to date. We are delighted with the outcome”
The fighters wore either the QT-256 or QT-1000 PlayerMic® for all training activities which included hours of sparring, grappling and rolling.
“The Q5X mics used on Cubicle to the Cage, never failed us. Both the QT-256 and QT 1000 never missed a beat. They are virtually indestructible! The small lightweight design made it easy to attach the mic transmitters to the fighters, coupled with the rechargeable power supply, meant we never had to change batteries” states Andrew MacCormack, Director
Greg Hemmings, CEO and Founder of Hemmings House Pictures, went on to say that “The sound quality was outstanding which is a critical element to great storytelling. Anyone wanting to mic a professional athlete of any kind, especially contact sports, I would highly suggest any of the Q5X models”.
